How to relist on Vinted (without re-uploading every photo)

Relisting is the simplest way to give an old ad another turn in front of buyers. Here is what it actually means on Vinted, how to do it by hand, and how to bulk relist your own listings without retyping anything.

The short version: Vinted has no one-tap “relist” button. A relist is a clone: create a new ad with the same photos and details, then delete the old one. Novalyn does that for your own listings, in bulk, and archives a full backup of each original before it removes anything.

What “relist” means on Vinted

When an ad has been live for a while, fewer buyers see it. Creating it again gives it a fresh position in the catalogue — but Vinted does not offer a “renew” button for your own items. The only way is to publish a copy and delete the original. That is why relisting by hand is slow: every photo has to be downloaded and uploaded again, and every field has to match.

There is no rule that says you must relist, and relisting does not guarantee a sale. It is simply a second chance for an ad that went quiet.

The manual way (3 steps)

  1. Save what the ad already has. Download its photos and copy the title, description, price, category, brand, size and condition into a note.
  2. Publish a new listing. Use “Sell” and upload the photos and details again. A new ad gets a new item id.
  3. Delete the original. Only after the copy is published, so buyers always have something to click.

For one item that is a few minutes. For ten it is an afternoon — and one mistyped price can cost more than the time saved.

Bulk relisting your own listings with Novalyn

Novalyn is a Chrome extension that performs the same clone-and-delete flow for the listings in your own Vinted wardrobe. It reads the items from the tab you are already signed in to, so there is no account to create and no password to hand over.

  1. Install the extension and open your Vinted wardrobe in a tab.
  2. Fetch your listings. Title, photos, price, category, brand, size, condition and category-specific details come from your own ads.
  3. Select items and press Relist. The batch works through them one at a time, with progress, pause, resume and cancel.
  4. Check the results. Each clone is confirmed live before the original is removed, and the archive keeps a backup of the original.

If you relist regularly, the Automation tab can prepare a run on a schedule. Runs are only prepared by default — nothing is relisted until you approve it.

Keeping it safe

  • Your own listings only. Novalyn is not for copying other sellers’ ads, and it will only read a wardrobe page that belongs to your signed-in account.
  • A human pace. The default is a pause between items, and the batch stops when you reach your own relist limit. You can continue early at your own risk if you choose.
  • Small batches. A handful at a time is easier to check and gentler on your account than a hundred in one go.
  • Stop on a challenge. If Vinted asks for verification or refuses a request, the batch stops instead of retrying into it.
  • A backup first. Every original is archived before it is removed, so a mistake is recoverable.

Frequently asked

Does relisting delete my views and favourites?

Yes. The copy is a new ad, so it starts with no views and no favourites. Novalyn stores the old numbers so the Results tab can compare what the ad did before and after the relist.

Can I relist only some of my listings?

Yes. Filter and tick exactly what you want, or use the radar to preselect the ads that have gone quiet. Nothing outside your selection is touched.

Is there a free trial?

Your first 50 successful relists are free, with no account. After that a licence key unlocks unlimited relisting.

Does it work outside my own market?

Novalyn supports the 29 Vinted marketplaces and shows amounts in the currency of your own market. It runs in the Vinted tab you are already signed in to.

Also in Nederlands, français, Deutsch, español and italiano.

Novalyn is an independent tool for sellers and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vinted. “Vinted” is a trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to describe what the tool works with. Use it on your own listings, at a human pace, and at your own risk.
